Top places to visit in Kuantan [Part 1]

The state capital of Pahang, Malaysia, is Kuantan. It is situated near the mouth of the River Kuantan. Based on its 2010 population, Kuantan is the 18th largest city in Malaysia and the largest city on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Kuantan is scheduled to be formally designated as a city in 2020. 

This is a straightforward journey as the KL to Kuantan distance is not huge so it’s just an easy drive, flight or bus ride away.

The distance from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan is only 237 kilometres. The driving time is about 2.5 hours.

What Is Interesting Here?

In addition to Sungai Lemving Town, Kuantan you know has waterfalls, beaches, caves and so on. If you haven't been to Kuantan, you must come and see this lovely place!


Lotus Park (Park for Lovers) Taman Gelora

The citizens of Kuantan do morning exercises here every day, filled with picturesque and beautiful lotus, is also one of Kuantan's famous attractions.

Sungai Pandan Waterfall

The cascading torrents converge into an icy waterfall pool. The natural scenery makes people forget the hustle and bustle of the city. This is a scenic spot suitable for the whole family to play together. You can also swim in the water here.

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 09:00am-05:00pm

Saturday and Sunday 09:00am-06:00pm

Closed: Friday


Deerland Park Lanchang Pahang

There are over a hundred deer and other animals in the farm, including Sun Bear, Golden Rooster and Crest Fireback. In the jungle next to the farm, there are authentic bamboo dishes, including bamboo rice, bamboo chicken, and bamboo vegetables.

Pantai Beserah, Misira Beach 


Misira is a small fishing village that is too simple to do well. The original and unmodified humanistic scenery can be tasted by capable people. The New Year movie "Wohoo! "Big Day" was filmed here.

Gambang Water Park

The first water park on the east coast of Malaysia, with 8 types of wave pools~ and 6 racetracks.

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 10:30 am-06:30pm

Saturday 09:30 am-07:30pm

Sunday 09:30 am-06:30pm

Bukit Gambang Safari Park

In the Safari Park here, you can see white tigers, white kangaroos, cheetahs, wildebeests, alpacas, spotted hyenas, Malayan tigers, Malayan membranes, etc., and you can also get close to some animals contact.
